OUR PHILOSOPHY
To work well without preconceived ideas.
An open mind, leave our imagination free rein, forget the rules,
eclecticism … all methods and practices are good for our exacting mission – to maximise your pleasure.
We have chosen the art of blending to successfully fulfil our mission.
France is blessed with an incomparable choice and diversity: regions, appellations, terroirs. Like a perfumer, or a great chef, we use the art of blending to create unique blends, phantasmagorical, but with flavours that are real!
BLENDING
In all areas of creation, there is novelty and innovation. One searches everywhere, one creates, overturning rules. Everywhere, but rarely does this happen in wine. An estate’s wine is usually a marriage of different wines coming from different grape varieties or from different parcels of the domaine’s vines. This stage, often misunderstood, is called – blending – and is governed by rules imposed by AOC (Appellation Contrôlée). But what if you want to open up a wider range of possibilities? It was this desire for freedom that created Baron Maxime. A mad gamble, risky gamble but …. a successful one!
OUR WINES
These fine, well-made, elegant wines but which don’t take themselves too seriously – equally at home as a casual aperitif as accompanying a fine dinner and the most crazy festivals. From being an everyday companion to an magical epiphany, you will find the Baron Maxime wines are your ideal partner.

On can say that his family have long known the secret of making good wine. When you know the rules perfectly, there is nothing more exciting than setting them aside… you don’t believe us?
