Originally from Bordeaux, Sauvignon Blanc is renowned as one of the best French grape varieties for white wine. Depending on the region where it is produced, a wine made from Sauvignon will tend to exhibit different aromas, ranging from white fruits and cassis, to notes of freshly cut grass, and gunflint. Some wines may also have notes of passion fruit.
